Dr. Maria G. Grammatikopoulou is Assistant Professor on Nutrition-Dietetics at the Department of Medicine, University of Thessaly, Greece, and Dietitian-Nutritionist affiliated with the Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology of the University General Hospital of Larissa, responsible for the Immunonutrition Unit.

 

Her research focuses on the dietary factors that contribute to primary and secondary disease prevention at all stages of life, evidence-based nutrition, and the methodology of nutritional research, using primary and secondary data (meta-research). She has published >160 scientific papers and ranks among the top 10 researchers with the highest impact at the University of Thessaly. Dr. Grammatikopoulou is an ambassador of the European Lifestyle Medicine Organization (ELMO), and member of the editorial board of several scientific journals.
